FOR CAMPS

Parents, this section is for camps only. Please click here to visit our section for parents.

Residential, not-for-profit camps that are accredited by the American Camp Association's (ACA) New York & New Jersey or Keystone Sections may apply annually for participation in SCOPE. The application process for camps is as follows:

  • Applications are reviewed by SCOPE and participant camps are selected and                provided with SCOPE camper forms to enroll campership recipients
  • Camps are notified of their funding allocations in late April, pending and subject to review of fiscal fundraising results for the year. Camps must sign a participation agreement at this time, outlining all SCOPE policies and procedures regarding funding.

  • Camps must submit required documentation for each funded camper by the deadline, usually in late August or early September.

  • Payments to camps are made after the camp season once ALL camper                          documentation has been received
