SCOPE Camperships

HOW TO APPLY TO & PARTICIPATING CAMPS

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR SCOPE SCHOLARSHIPS CHILDREN MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

  • 7-16 years old;

  • meet family income eligibility requirements established by the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture for free or reduced-priced school lunch;

  • be enrolled in a public school; and agree to comply with the registration procedures and rules/regulations of the chosen camp.

If you are interested in obtaining a SCOPE scholarship, please follow these steps:

  1. Choose a participating camp from the list, which can be viewed by following the link below. You will be applying to the camp directly.

    Families may obtain information about each camp by visiting their website or by calling the camp office.

  2. Apply directly to the camp.

    If your child meets the eligibility requirements, contact the camp you have selected and request a SCOPE application. A SCOPE application cannot be obtained from SCOPE.

  3. Fill out and return the application and other required documentation to the camp you have selected. DO NOT SEND APPLICATIONS TO SCOPE.

  4. The camp will contact you if they have a scholarship available and will provide you with further information about preparing your child for camp.

Camp Brooklyn Camperships

 

SCOPE administers funds raised by Camp Brooklyn, Inc. This program seeks to make camp available to Brooklyn residents who cannot otherwise afford the camp experience.


TO BE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN "CAMP BROOKLYN" CHILDREN MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

  • 7-16 years old;

  • be a Brooklyn resident

  • meet family income eligibility requirements established by the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture for free or reduced-priced school lunch;

  • be enrolled in a public school; and agree to comply with the registration procedures and rules/regulations of the chosen camp.

If you are interested in obtaining a "CAMP BROOKLYN" scholarship; please follow these steps:

  1. Choose a participating camp from the list, which can be viewed by following the link below. You will be applying to the camp directly.

  2. Apply directly to the camp.
